Authors of the 10 most cited papers published in Osteoporosis International and its sister journal Archives of Osteoporosis between 2015 and 2019 were awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Publishing

Osteoporosis International and Archives of Osteoporosis are joint publications of the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF-formerly NOF). As one of the most influential peer-reviewed scientific journals in the bone field, Osteoporosis International publishes a wide range of high-quality clinical studies in the bone and musculoskeletal field. It is a leading forum for exchanging new research and guidance, as well as the latest opinions on the diagnosis, prevention, treatment and management of osteoporosis and related metabolic bone diseases. The impact factor of Archives of Osteoporosis continues to increase, and it is the preferred journal to highlight national or regional guidelines, introducing epidemiology, bone density and bone metabolism reference values ​​in different regions of the world, as well as clinical aspects of osteoporosis and other bone diseases.

The co-editors of the journals, Professor John Kanis and Professor Felicia Cosman, have awarded these two journals the most frequently cited papers from 2015 to 2019 with the Certificate of Excellence in Publishing:
